Logistics Support - Preparing Documents Related to All shipments - Preparing Customs clearance Documents to All shipments Logistics Consulting Import-Export Freight Air | Ocean | Rail | General Cargo Ships | Bulk Carriers | Tankers | Barges | Container Ships | Dangerous Cargo Ship | Cross Trade shipping | Pricing | • Supply chain planning -work with procurement managers and buyers to source the right products -negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers -plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met -oversee product storage, handling and distribution -use computer software to track goods from origin to delivery -work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analyzing performance • Customs clearance -A customs clearance officer draws up the customs documents, verifies the accuracy of declared shipments and monitors compliance with customs regulations -Issuing customs documents -Checking of transport documents -Verification of the accuracy of declared shipments and compliance with customs legislation -Communication with business partners -Processing orders of business partners • Freight -Scheduling transportation services, allocating drivers, and planning routes. -Negotiating contracts and processing payments. -Keeping transportation operations within budget without compromising efficiency -Processing transportation documentation and monitoring drivers' logbook entries -Developing, implementing, and improving transportation policies and procedures -Liaising between management, drivers, and customers. •Transportation -Planning transportation for personnel and cargo -Proper cargo handling, shipping, and storing methods -Analysis of transportation documents • Operations -Communication with Prospective Customers -Market Research for Suppliers -Import – Export Handling / Ocean , Road and Air Transportation -Documentation & Follow up of Customs Procedure -Booking Procedure with Carriers and Truckers -Trace Shipment through Transit Points up to Final Destination and Advice Customer Service as needed. -Ensure that File contains all necessary Document Copies in Proper Sequence -Responsible for Informing Management of Progress and Requirements of the Department. -Responsible for Reviewing all Documents. • Pricing -Process, analyze, and submit complex freight network bid packages -Analyze freight market to fully understand company freight needs -Maintain relationships with sales in order to understand and meet the needs of the customer -Help in the maintenance of freight contracts -Provide accurate and timely responses to customer’s rate requests -Provide rate recommendations to upper management
